John was a great person to work with as well as a good friend. We had a good nine years of colleagueship in the former St.Albans Circuit and I know that a great number of members and friends in his former churches and in the circuit as a whole great valued all that he did, together with the wonderful support given by Dorothy.. Although his work and witness is going to be greatly missed, words of scripture come to mind which simply say: 'Well done good and faithful servant'
